What's in Our Diaper Bag

By nature, I am sort of a perfectionist. But, after having Niko, I feel as though my perfectionist and OCD tendencies have sky-rocketed. My life literally feels like it is spinning out of control when things are out of place. That is why 99% of the time my diaper bag is perfection and everything is in it's place; it is the only thing that I have full control over, at all times. This diaper bag is our saving grace and is jam-packed and bursting at the seams with every last possible thing you could ever need.

As you prepare for your little one, let me help you take away the stress of trying to make a mental list of everything you may need for your own diaper bag. Use this little check list and put your mind at ease!

• 10ish Pampers Swaddlers Diapers
• A pack of Pampers Sensitive Wipes
• A changing pad
Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Bags
• 1-2 outfit changes
• A pair of jammies
• A pair of socks
• An aden + anais swaddling blanket
• A pair of baby sunnies
• 2-3 bibs
• 2-3 baby spoons [these are our favorites]
• 2-3 Plum Organics food pouches [Niko's favorite flavors are: Raspberry, Spinach & Greek YogurtBlueberry, Pear, & Purple Carrot; Spinach, Peas, & Pear; Pumpkin & Banana; & Roasted Carrot, Spinach & Beans]
• A mason jar filled with Cheerios
• A mini mason jar filled with Puffs
• A pack of Boogie Wipes
• Boogie Mist
• A pack of Munchkin pacifier and toy wipes
• A pack of Dr. Brown's Gum Wipes
• A pack of Babyganics Face, Hand & Baby Wipes
• Dapple bottle soap [I bought a travel squeeze tube from Target and filled it with the bottle soap]
• A travel size Honest Shampoo & Body Wash [we were using the California Baby Shampoo & Body Wash until we ran out]
• A baby hair brush and a travel size California Baby Jelly Mousse hair gel [since Niko has had a full head of hair since birth, we always need to be able to tame those luscious locks of his!]
• A travel size California Baby Super Sensitive Everyday Lotion
• A travel size lint roller [because, when you have a dog that sheds as much as Brooks, you cannot leave the house without one]
• A toothbrush & a travel size baby toothpaste
• Orajel Naturals daytime formula [for the teething baby]
• Babyganics Pure Mineral Sunscreen Stick
• Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer [we like the Mandarin scent]
Babyganics Mineral-Based Sunscreen [now that warmer days are ahead]
• 1 Tommee Tippee sippy [we like the ones with the straws
• Various little baby toys [a rattle, tiny cars, whatever I can get my hands on as we walk out the door]
• & some lipsticks, 'cause mama needs some pampering too!

*Some items may need to be modified, as your little one may need a bottle instead of a sippy, your baby may not be quite ready for solid foods, and your little one may need binkies instead of cars, but use this as a handy little guideline for the essentials!
